Thomas Weldon Fowler
was the son of Austin H. Fowler and Mattie Mae Wilson.
Born on 31 Oct 1921 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, USA. Graduated from Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas (later Texas A&M University) in Feb 1943. Joined the U.S. Army. Earned the Medal of Honor for his actions on 23 May 1944 at Carano, Italy. Killed in action on 3 June 1944 during the drive on Rome. Posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.

The Medal of Honor was presented to his wife on 11 Nov 1944 by Maj. Gen. Ralph M. Pennell at Fort Sill, Comanche County, Oklahoma, USA. 2ND LT.
