Seven Texas Aggie Medal of Honor Recipients

There were seven men who had attended or graduated from Texas A&M University and who received the Medal of Honor in World War II. Texas A&M University renamed several dormitories after them. Every new Texas A&M cadet must learn their names. They are honored in the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.

The images below are photos of their portraits executed in bronze bas relief by sculptor Lawrence M. Ludtke which were unveiled on 27 Feb 1993 in a commemoration ceremony at the Sam Houston Sanders Corps of Cadets Center.

As of 29 May 2010, six of the Medals of Honor received by these seven men have been donated or loaned to the Corps of Cadets Center at Texas A&M University in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA, and are currently on display there.
