Dear Mr. Jordan:
Enclosed are prints, as well as negatives, depicting the most significant events
that took place last weekend. These prints and negatives are being sent to you with
the hope that you will see to it that known relatives of Medal of Honor winner Lt.
Lloyd H. Hughes will receive sufficient copies. Also enclosed are five copies of
the March 4 Issue of The Battalion for distribution as you see fit.
Mrs. Rudder and I were disappointed that we were unable to attend all of the
festivities, but, from the comments of our associates on the campus, it was most
memorable occasion for all.
We extend to you our very best wished and hope that at a later date you will
again honor us with your presence.
Sincerely yours,
(signed) Earl Rudder President
