HEADQUARTERS
3525th PILOT TRAINING WING (ATC)
United States Air Force
Williams Air Force Base, Arizona

15 FEB 1962

Mrs. Mildred M. Jordan
1113 Sixth Street
Corpus Christi, Texas

Dear Mrs. Jordan

I am contemplating naming Building 43 at Williams Air Force Base, Arizona after your late son, Second Lieutenant Lloyd Herbert Hughes. The building, which houses the 3525th Pilot Training Squadron, will be known as Hughes Hall. This squadron is responsible for the primary flying training of all undergraduate pilot training students undergoing training here at Williams.

Will you please advise me if this proposal meets with your approval.

Sincerely

(signature)
RICHARD S. ABBEY
