Mrs. J. R. Jordan, Sr.

Mrs. Mildred Mae Jordan, 60, wife of J. R. Jordan, Sr. died at her home, 1113 Sixth, at 11:50 p.m. Monday after a long illness.

Mrs. Jordan had been a resident of Corpus Christi for the past 12 years. She was a member of the South Bluff Methodist Church and the Gold Star Mothers.

Surviving, besides her husband, are her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Rainey, Corpus Christi; four sons, James M. Jordan, J. R. Jordan, Jr., William C. Jordan and Paul N. Jordan all of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mrs. A. D. Corgey, Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Oma Stroder, La Vegas, Nev.; four brothers, Steve Rainey and Thomas B. Rainey, Panama Canal Zone; Paul J. Rainey, Pinehurst, Texas, and Roger M. Rainey, Falfurrias; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday in Cage-Mills Funeral Home with the Rev. Lowell Ryan, pastor of South Bluff Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.
