A Topographical Map of Campina, Romania
I recently received
this from a fellow researcher. It is a topographical map of
Campina, Rumania dated "DEC.1940."

it bigger. It is entitled:
CAMPINA
LAT 45°08' N LONG 25°44' E
Out of sheer curiosity, I entered the coordinates +45° 08', +25° 44' into Google Maps and found Campina, Romania. With a little experimenting and comparing of the old topographical map with the new map, I found what looks like some big tanks and a refinery operation going on at these coordinates: 45° 07' 46", 25° 44' 15".
Ploesti (or Ploieşti), Romania is a little further south
at
+44° 56' 21", +26° 1' 24".
