County, Texas, USA, 26 Mar 1952, Page A12: "Mrs. J. R. Jordan, Sr. - Funeral services
for Mrs. Mildred Mae Jordan, 50, wife of J. R. Jordan, Sr., will be held at 10 a.m.
today in Cage-Mills Funeral Home. The Rev. Lowell Ryan, pastor, of South Bluff Methodist
Church will officiate. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park. Mrs. Jordan had
been a resident of Corpus Christi for the past 12 years. She died at her home, 1113
Sixth, at 1:00 p.m. Monday after a long illness. Surviving, besides her husband,
are her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Rainey, Corpus Christi; four sons, James M. Jordan,
J. R. Jordan, Jr., William C. Jordan and Paul N. Jordan, all of Corpus Christi;
two sisters, Mrs. A. D. Corgey, Corpus Christi and Mrs. Oma Stroder, La Vegas, Nev.;
four brothers, Steve Rainey and Thomas B. Rainey, Panama Canal Zone; Paul J. Rainey,
Pinehurst, Texas, and Roger M. Rainey, Falfurrias; and three grandchildren."
