Obituary for John Raymond JORDAN, Sr. - Corpus Christi Caller, Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, USA, 15 Feb 1978, Page 12C: "John Raymond Jordan Sr. - John Raymond Jordan Sr., 81 (born about 1897), of 1113 6th St., (Corpus Christi) died yesterday (14 Feb 1978) morning in a local nursing home. He was a retired oilfield worker. Survivors include four sons, James M., John R. and Paul Jordan, all of Corpus Christi, and William C. Jordan of Lake Jackson (Texas); one sister, Mrs. Gertie Mae Scoggins of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, Dick Jordan of Sweeney (Texas); 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Cage-Mills Everhart Chapel."
